Founded in 1994, Insight Gaming Concepts, L.L.C. is the result of the diligence and hard work of its two founders: Robert Germano and Kirk Ryan.

Robert Germano, a native of Easton Pennsylvania, moved to Las Vegas with his family where he studied business at UNLV. He relocated to Atlantic City New Jersey in 1978 and opened Resorts Hotel Casino. He later opened Harrah’s as a Floor Person and moved steadily to Pit Manager, and then to I.T.

Kirk Ryan, a native of Las Vegas, relocated to Atlantic City in 1979 and opened Harrah’s in 1980. He served as a Floor Person then took the position of Slot Operations Supervisor and then went to the Borgata as a Floor Person.

Insight Gaming Concepts, L.L.C.’s has three projects:

The first project was to patent a design for Hop Bets on the Craps Layout. This was done in 1991 and had its first successful installation at Caesars in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1997. It is now operational in eight States, at thirty seven casinos with a spread of over 225 tables.

Their second project was to market a game called Double Cross Poker. This game is a variation of 5 card stud poker.

Their third project is a patent of a new side bet for the game of craps. This bet is called the Midway Bet and is scheduled for introduction in the Atlantic City market in the spring of 2005. The Midway Bet is the first new even money wager for the craps table ever introduced. Functioning in exactly the same way as the field bet, the Midway Bet has the numbers 6, 7, and 8 which if wagered shall win if any of the numbers roll on the next throw of the dice. If the 6 or 8 come in pairs or the “hardway” the Midway Bet pays double. This bet offers the player the unique opportunity to play a bet that is opposite the field and requires no skill.
